What was your reason for studying in Japan?
I believe that the Japanese art field is free and creative, incorporating a variety of ideas. I wanted to study art in such an environment and decided to come to Japan to do so.
Please tell us about any events that made you happy or happy to have enrolled at ISI.
At first, I was anxious because I was not used to living in a foreign country, but as soon as I entered Kyoto Campus, I quickly made friends and got along well with my friends. The teachers at the school are kind and the classes are fun. Now I am able to go on to higher education without the anxiety I had at first, and I want to continue to study hard and live my life as an exchange student.
What did you and your teachers and fellow students do to prepare for the exam?
I worked hard with my teachers on interview practice and Japanese language study. My homeroom teacher always cared about me and gave me emotional support by discussing my problems with her. I am sincerely grateful to my teachers.
What are your goals and dreams for the future?
I was born and raised in China, but I want to create original works of art, incorporating the process of my life up to now and the feelings and growth I experienced while studying in Japan into my work.
Please give a message to those who are considering to study at ISI.
All of the teachers at Kyoto Campus are kind and the school's support is excellent. However, I would like you to remember not to rely too much on the teachers and to be prepared to do things on your own.
