Please tell us why you came to Japan to study and why you decided to enroll at ISI.
Japan's industrial technology is among the best in the world. I decided to study in Japan to learn about it.
I also initially considered Kyoto University as a place of higher education, so I searched among Japanese language schools in Kyoto, focusing on facilities, convenience and nationality ratio. As a result, the Kyoto school was the only school that far exceeded my expectations, so I decided to enroll.
What are your favourite things about being at ISI?
My homeroom teacher, Tsujihara-sensei, was very kind and always cared about my life in Japan, not to mention my exam studies. I am very grateful to her.
Why did you choose the school you are applying to? What was the reason for your choice?
The main reasons for choosing the University of Tsukuba were the international environment in which to study and the thriving advanced research. In the field of science, the University boasts one of the best research capabilities in Japan, and I thought I would be able to acquire a wide range of specialized knowledge and skills.
What were you most anxious about during your examination activities?
The interview is the main part of the graduate school entrance exam, and I was most anxious about suddenly being asked questions that I had not prepared for beforehand. Thus, I repeatedly rehearsed with my professor, anticipating every possible question that might come up.
Please give a message to those who are considering to study at ISI.
