Why did you decide to study in Japan and Why did you choose ISI?
I decided to come to Japan to study because I have always loved Japanese culture. I also decided to enroll in ISI because they had classes for graduate school entrance.
What do you think is the best thing about enrolling at ISI?
I am glad that I was able to focus on my studies with peace of mind because of the excellent teachers and the school's well prepared Corona measures.
Do you have any memorable lessons or memories with your teachers?
In order to improve my writing skills, Mr. Takahashi corrected my diary every day, and Mr. Onishi consulted with me before my graduate school exams, which I appreciated very much.
Looking back on your exams, what were the hardest and best parts?
The hardest part was that it was very hot on the day of the exam, and since I was wearing a suit, I almost got heat stroke.
The good thing is that I think the nervousness of the exam day brought out my condition in reverse.
What were some of the things that you worked hard on with your teachers and fellow students to prepare for the exam?
Onishi-sensei consulted me about the idea of my research proposal and I studied in the library and cafes with my friends.
What would you tell to those who want to study in ISI?
The teachers are very friendly to the students, and they can also help you with various career paths. There are many great teachers and I think it is a very good Japanese language school, so please consider it.
