Please tell us about any events that made you happy or happy to have enrolled at ISI.
I have been blessed with a homeroom teacher ever since I entered ISI. I have received generous guidance from all of my previous teachers. I would like to express my gratitude to my first teacher, Saito Sensei (Ms. Saito), then Takahashi Sensei, and now Iwasaki Sensei.
What are some of your most memorable classes, memories and episodes with teachers?
When I first entered the school, I was not very confident about going on to higher education. I compared myself with other students in the same class, considered my age, the university I had attended, and my Japanese grades, and was unsure about many things. At that time, my homeroom teacher, Saito Sensei (Ms. Saito), was concerned about me and kindly offered me advice. I also received a lot of help from my classmate Eki-san and her sisters. Thanks to Saito-sensei and Eki-san, I was able to overcome the most difficult period of my life.
Why did you choose the school you are applying to? What was the reason for your choice?
The Graduate School of Commerce at Waseda University is top-ranked in the area of business administration and commerce, and its educational philosophy, educational policy, lecture content, and faculty members are top-notch. Among them, there is a professor whom I would like to receive guidance from, and I would like to continue my research under him and achieve results that will contribute to society and business.
What were you most anxious about during your examination activities?
The grammatical expression of the written test on the day of the exam. And I was very anxious and nervous during the interview.
What are your goals and dreams for the future?
My short-term goal is to study hard in graduate school and graduate with good grades while achieving my own research results. In the future, I would like to contribute to society and help companies grow through my knowledge.
Please give a message to those who are considering to study at ISI.
If you want to go on to higher education, the learning environment and atmosphere are important. At Takadanobaba School, I made friends with classmates who had the same goal of going on to higher education, and we were able to study together. I feel that the environment has an influence on people. I believe that putting yourself in a good environment will lead to good results.
