What was your reason for studying in Japan?
I have always been interested in Japanese art and culture. Since I studied art education based on Japanese culture at university, Japan is a very attractive place for me. That is why I decided to study in Japan.
Why did you decide to enroll at ISI and what are some of your favorite things about the school?
At first, I searched for Japanese language schools on the Internet from my home country, China. After reading posts by current students and graduates and looking at the school's reputation, ISI was the most highly rated.
Once I actually enrolled, I found that the support for students and classes were as good as their reputation.
Why did you choose the school you are applying to? What was the reason for your choice?
I chose to study sculpturing at Musashino Art University because it was the most prestigious university for future sculptors and plastic artists. I had been researching the university since I was in China and found the professors' work to be excellent and the atmosphere of the university to be very appealing.
What were you most anxious about during your examination activities?
I was still worried about my Japanese language ability. I thought it would be very tough for a foreigner to pass the Japanese language test, just like Japanese people. However, I think that having this anxiety helped me to concentrate on my studies with a good sense of urgency. My Japanese level has improved a lot in the classes at the school. I am very happy to have studied at the Ikebukuro school.
Please give a message to those who are considering to study at ISI.
ISI is a school with a good environment in many aspects. The location is convenient for commuting to school, and the school provides guidance and an educational system tailored to your Japanese language level and purpose of study abroad. Above all, the teachers are all wonderful.
If you want to come and study in Japan in the future, I think you can have the same experience as me by joining this school. ^^
