What was your reason for studying in Japan?
I think Japan is a beautiful, safe and peaceful country. I decided to study in Japan because I wanted to live in Japan for a long time in the future.
Why did you decide to enroll in Tokyo-Harajuku Campus?
This is because I heard that the Tokyo-Harajuku Campus offers specialized support for job hunting and also has a specialized course for job hunting called the Japanese Career Course.
What is the best thing about enrolling in Tokyo-Harajuku Campus?
If you want a high level of Japanese language education and have a goal of finding a job in Japan, Tokyo-Harajuku Campus is the perfect school for you. It is a really good environment to steadily improve your Japanese level step by step.
My homeroom teacher was very supportive in helping me prepare my resume and other necessary documents, and there was a specialist teacher at the career center for job interviews, which was very reassuring.
What is the most enjoyable/interesting class you have taken?
There were many fun lessons and I feel that all these lessons helped me improve my Japanese. Listening lessons were especially important for me.
I also enjoyed the "Future Classroom" project work where each student had to give a presentation. I really had a wonderful experience during my time at the school.
Looking back on your job search, what were some of the difficulties and positive aspects?
In general, working for a Japanese company requires a high level of Japanese language ability. This may be a bit of a hurdle for international students. Also, depending on your educational background in your home country, the scope of your job search and the fields in which you can apply will differ.
On the other hand, however, you can receive specialized " Job hunting support for international students" until you find a job. Sometimes that support is based on the advantages of being an international student, so please don't give up and take on the challenge.
Please give a message to those who are considering to study at ISI.
If you are willing and able to set aside the time to study, this school is a first-class place to study.
Just remember that learning Japanese is not easy and you need to work hard.
