What were the key points when looking for a Japanese language school?
If I was going to go to Japan, I wanted to study in a place where I could experience trends and culture. I knew that Ikebukuro has many department stores and stores, and that there are many anime-related and seasonal events in Tokyo.
Ikebukuro Campus offers excellent guidance for entrance examinations, but there are also a wide variety of events throughout the year, perfect for a temporary release and refreshment from the stress of exams. It was exactly the school I was aiming for ^^.
Please tell us about any events that made you happy or happy to have enrolled at ISI.
One-on-one career interviews are held regularly at the school. At the interviews, I expressed my thoughts and concerns about my career path and schools of choice to my teachers.
The teacher listened carefully to what I had to say and explained in detail what I needed to do to improve my Japanese and prepare for the entrance examination. Looking back, I think that all my activities for the entrance examination started with this career path interview.
Why did you choose the school you are applying to? What was the reason for your choice?
I was accepted to Toyo University's Faculty of Information Science and Technology, where you can study all areas of society (psychology, media, sports, art, etc.) as well as AI, which is currently popular based on information. I want to be a part of it.
What were you most anxious about during your examination activities?
I was very anxious about what I would do if I failed the application screening, which I think is a feeling that not only I but all applicants have. However, with careful guidance from my teachers, I was able to prepare myself.
How did ISI's guidance and support help you in taking the exam?
As the exam approached, the school repeatedly practiced the interview. The teacher selected many questions that could be assumed based on past examination data, and we repeated our responses to the questions.
Ikebukuro Campus offers a full range of support for students who wish to enter higher education, including interview practice, interview etiquette, how to write a statement of purpose, and corrections, and this kind of support was really helpful for me in my own entrance examinations.
