Please tell us why you came to Japan to study and why you decided to enroll at ISI.
I thought that Japan would be easy for me to study because it is a Kanji-speaking country like China. I am also interested in the field of biology, and Japan has produced many excellent researchers, so I wanted to do research in this field in Japan.
I heard that many students from various countries and regions of the world are enrolled at ISI. I decided to enroll at Ikebukuro Campus because I thought I could study together with international students from all over the world in such a global environment.
Please tell us about any events that made you happy or happy to have enrolled at ISI.
In the college entrance examination, a big obstacle stands in the way, not only the exam but also the interview. However, at school, the teachers supported me by putting a lot of effort into interview practice. I was able to practice interviews repeatedly, so I was able to do them with a rather comfortable margin.
Please share your memories and episodes of impressive classes and teachers.
Every Friday, there is a writing class taught by Mr. Ueda. Before coming to Japan, I could hardly write essays, but Mr. Ueda not only taught me how to write, but also corrected my writing in detail. Recently, I have been surprised at what I have written.
How did ISI's guidance and support help you in taking the exam?
The support provided by the school is not only for the entrance examinations, but also for daily life in Japan. I think it was because of the extensive support for my daily life that I was able to get used to life in Japan quickly and concentrate on my entrance examinations.
Please give a message to those who are considering enrolling in ISI.
Some of you may be thinking about entering a university or graduate school and would like to attend a Japanese language school and attend cram school at the same time. Studying for entrance examinations at cram schools is important, but you should also place importance on studying Japanese at a Japanese language school. A good command of the Japanese language will help you study for the entrance examinations and will also increase the advantages of living in Japan.
