After studying Japanese at university, I came to Japan and entered Toyo University. After graduating from Toyo University, I wanted to find a job in Japan, but I had to return to my home country for a while just because of Corona.
In my home country, I was working in the supply chain related field, but I decided to come back to Japan again to study in order to fulfill my dream of working in Japan.
Why did you decide to study at Harajuku Campus?
I thought it would be advantageous to find a job if I enrolled in the Harajuku Campus. I was also attracted by the fact that the school offers business Japanese language courses.
When I was a university student in Japan, I often had casual conversations with my friends, so I wanted to study Japanese and keigo (honorific speech) used in business situations.
What are the advantages of attending Harajuku Campus?
I learned how to write an authentic resume and was able to practice realistic corporate interviews. It was also a great opportunity to meet many friends.
What are your goals and dreams for the future?
I would like to use my experience here to provide management analysis consulting services to companies in Japan and the U.S. in the future.
What advice would you give to those who are considering studying abroad for employment?
I think it is important for those who are thinking about finding a job in Japan to not worry too much and take action first.
In Japan, there are two types of employment frameworks: "mid-career employment" and "new graduate employment. In the case of mid-career hiring, you already have work experience in your home country, so you are more likely to be hired as someone who can make an immediate impact. Even if you are a new graduate and have no previous work experience, if you believe in your skills and abilities and conduct your job search while improving your Japanese language skills, I am sure that you will find a job at this school.
At the same time, you should seriously consider your career!
