Why did you choose to study in Japan?
I have been a fan of Japanese culture since I was a kid and started learning Japanese drumming when I was 7 years old. Later, I enrolled in a Japanese-Argentina school, where I made many friends with Japanese roots and decided to come to Japan because Japanese culture was close to my heart.
What do you think is the best thing about enrolling at ISI?
I think it is a great experience to be able to learn Japanese with students from many different countries.
My class is multinational, and when the teachers teach us about Japan in class, they ask us questions like "How is it in your country?", so we can learn about other cultures as well. There are so many things I don't know about myself, and I think it's great to learn about other countries and their cultures.
Please tell us about your class and your homeroom teacher.
My classmates are very multinational, coming from countries such as France, China, Thailand, Chile, and the United States. In class, we practice kanji, vocabulary, and check our homework. The teacher will check what you have learned so far, so don't worry.
I can also ask my teachers about things outside of class. For example, if I have any problems in Japan, such as opening a bank account, I can talk to my teachers and they will always support me.
What would you tell to those who want to study in ISI?
If you are interested in Japan and the Japanese language school, I think you should definitely give it a try because it will be a great experience. I have many friends who want to study Japanese in Japan, but they are hesitant because they don't know the country, culture, Japanese language, and many other concerns. However, I was fortunate to find this school and now I am in a very good situation, so I am glad that I tried.
