Nagano is known as one of the leading ski resorts in Japan, where the Winter Olympics were held. In this environment blessed with great nature, you can experience the beautiful four seasons of Japan and also experience the history as a castle town and the warmth of the local community.
A student dormitory is located within walking distance from the school, and part-time jobs during the school year are also carefully supported. Nagano Campus offers a safe learning environment, a full support system, and a diverse curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students who wish to enter universities and vocational schools in Japan or find employment.
The employment offer rate at our affiliated vocational school is over 90%! We hold many employment seminars and guidance sessions, and our full-time career advisors provide individual guidance according to students' wishes and aptitudes.
As a community-based school, students can experience skiing and hot springs in a nature-rich resort area, and enjoy the bounty of nature in each of the four seasons, while interacting with Japanese people.
A student dormitory is within walking distance and part-time job support is available after enrollment for a safe and comfortable learning environment. Faculty and staff with knowledge and skills provide friendly support to students.
This is a special program, available only at Nagano Campus, for students who wish to work in Japan, to improve their Japanese language skills and obtain a Specified Skilled Workers’ No. 1 visa.
We work closely with each student who has a desire to work in Japan and provide detailed support until they find a job. For those who participate in this program, it is possible to find a job in Japan even with a high school diploma.

At the Intermediate II level and above, students can choose to take elective classes. This provides an environment for students to focus on what they really want to learn for their future.
Prepares students in using academic Japanese and studying for the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) which is required when applying to universities in Japan. (*subject: Japanese)
Focuses on problems that are likely to appear in the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) or problems that have been previously used on the JLPT. Practice tests are administered before the actual JLPT.
Seeks to improve conversation skills through activities such as role-play, debate and field work.
International and Japanese students live together in the student dormitory, which is within walking distance to the school, and many students enjoy cross-cultural exchange in an international environment. In the shared kitchen, you may have the opportunity to try dishes from various countries. The dormitory facilities are staffed by a resident manager and are equipped with security cameras to ensure the safety of residents.
Many students work at convenience stores, izakaya (Japanese style pubs), restaurants, and shopping centers near the school. On weekends and during long vacations, students can also do part-time jobs or internships at resort hotels, which will be useful when they find jobs in Japan in the future. There are teachers at the school who can provide support for part-time jobs.

In addition, there are numerous hot springs, so visitors can experience not only nature but also Japanese hospitality.
At Nagano Campus, students can experience not only the Japanese language but also the history of the castle town and the warmth of the local community while experiencing the beautiful seasons of Japan.

The school opened in 1992 in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, as an international Japanese language institute open to the world.
The Japanese Language Department, established in a technical college with a total enrollment of 680 students, provides Japanese language education that meets the needs of students by offering a diverse curriculum that allows students to advance to vocational schools, universities, and graduate schools, as well as to find employment and obtain Specified Skilled Worker Visa (i).
Through the life in Japan, I encountered wonderful people and could feel like a home staying at the dormitory. And my conversation skills have improved a lot through daily life.
