Introducing the dormitory of Kyoto Campus

There are many prestigious schools in the Kansai region, where the Kyoto Campus is located, including Kyoto University, one of the top university in Japan as well as The University of Tokyo. The school has a wealth of information on schools in the Kansai region and all over Japan, which can be freely accessed.
In addition, the school holds events to prepare students for higher education, such as inviting career counselors from universities and vocational schools, as well as special courses such as preparing for application documents or interviews which are tailored to students’ examination schedules.
At the intermediate level, there are elective classes such as graduate school entrance,  and EJU/ JLPT preparation. Many of our students are able to go on to the schools of their choice every year with the guidance of our experienced teachers.

At the Intermediate II level and above, students can choose to take elective classes. This provides an environment for students to focus on what they really want to learn for their future.
*For “Job Finding Class” the applicant must meet the criteria for obtaining a work visa, such as Intermediate level III or higher, and graduation from a university or junior college in their home country.

Prepares students in writing research proposals and short theses that are required when applying to graduate schools in Japan.

EJU Preparation Class

EJU Preparation Class

Prepares students in using academic Japanese and studying for the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) which is required when applying to universities in Japan. (*subject: Japanese)

JLPT Preparation Class

JLPT Preparation Class

Focuses on problems that are likely to appear in the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) or problems that have been previously used on the JLPT. Practice tests are administered before the actual JLPT.

Job Finding Class

Job Finding Class

The course prepares students for job hunting through practical learning such as "Resume writing", "Interview practice", and "Presentation skill improvement".

Practical Conversation Class

Practical Conversation Class

Seeks to improve conversation skills through activities such as role-play, debate and field work.

It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and several rivers, like Kamo River and Katsura River, that run through the city, which leads to different landscapes every season. You can also visit many old historical sites such as temples and shrines while enjoying the Japanese traditional culture that emanates from those buildings.
Besides the more than 1,000 years of history as the ancient capital, it is a famous student city due to its prestigious universities.
