If you are interested in entering a vocational school or university in Japan, or if you are interested in SDGs or subculture, why not study at Ikebukuro Campus?
The Ikebukuro Campus is one of the smaller ISI Japanese language schools, which means that students and teachers are closer to each other and there are more events to participate in.
The school is also located in the same building as TBL (Tokyo Business and Language College), an ISI group school, so students can have the opportunity to learn practical Japanese while interacting with Japanese students attending TBL.
Ikebukuro Campus also makes efforts to help students go on to vocational schools in all fields and within the group by offering trial classes at various vocational schools. Ikebukuro, where the school is located, is bustling with activity as the future city of SDGs and a sacred place for subculture, making it a stimulating environment even outside of school.
The Ikebukuro Campus has been approved by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a school of various kinds. The high quality of Japanese language education and blessed learning environment will enrich your learning.
Ikebukuro Campus has a group vocational school at same building , and many students go on to study at the group school. You can feel the atmosphere of a Japanese vocational school, and this environment is also attractive because it allows students to interact with each other.
Ikebukuro is Japan's representative SDGs city, and you can study in an attractive environment that is bustling as a sacred place for subculture. The school offers a wide range of classes and extracurricular activities related to SDGs and subculture.
Ikebukuro Campus, which places great importance on its connections with vocational schools in various fields, offers students the opportunity to take trial classes at vocational schools. This is a very well-loved opportunity for students to get an idea of what they can learn at the vocational school and what they can expect after entering the school.
In the advanced and intermediate classes, students study the SDGs in class, do group work, and participate in activities familiar to them, such as picking up trash around Ikebukuro with students from the group schools.
At the Intermediate II level and above, students can choose to take elective classes. This provides an environment for students to focus on what they really want to learn for their future.
*For “Job Finding Class” the applicant must meet the criteria for obtaining a work visa, such as Intermediate level III or higher, and graduation from a university or junior college in their home country.

Ikebukuro, the gigantic terminal of 8 transportation lines. Around the station you can find the representation of the expanding downtown of Tokyo: famous shopping malls and commercial facilities, restaurants and electric shops, and even gatherings of young people who like anime and games. On the other hand, it is full of important cultural amenities such as parks, theaters and well-known universities. Without a doubt, the best environment for international students.
Thank you for considering Japan as a place to study. I know it will be hard to study Japanese, but I would like to do my best in Japan with you all.

With a capacity of 400 students, it is aimed to those students who want to enroll in higher education or look for a job in Japan. Since its opening as ISI Tokyo in 2002, many graduates have experienced the "know-how" and many others are active all over the world. Even though the new campus was open in October 2012 in Shinjuku, it was eventually moved to Ikebukuro, and since July 2014 students have been learning Japanese in the current Ikebukuro Campus.
After studying Japanese at ISI for more than a year, my Japanese communication skills have vastly improved.
