12 students from Wuhan Kangli High School visit Japan

The interior construction of the Shinjuku school is underway in preparation for its opening in April, and the classrooms on the completed floor were used for the first time by a group program from an international high school in China! The students who came to Japan this time were 12 students aged 15-17 from Wuhan Kangli High School, and this was their second visit from the high school.

On the morning of Wednesday, January 15th, classes were held for the first time using electronic whiteboards. In the first class, we learned how to introduce ourselves and Japanese to use when shopping. Even students who had only been studying here for three months gave excellent self-introductions.

In the second class, we learned about Japanese New Year and visited the nearby Nariko Tenjin Shrine. It was impressive to see how polite the students were when they visited the shrine.
After the class, a campus tour was given, with the students shown around the lounge area on the 14th floor and the lobby on the 1st floor. The library area, with its wide selection of Japanese books, was also well received.

The following week (1/21), a 42-member student group from Lanzhou, China (Northwestern Normal University) also visited the Shinjuku campus. The Shinjuku school, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, seemed to be of great interest to all the groups.
In the survey, everyone answered “YES” to the question “Would you recommend ISI Japanese Language School (Shinjuku Branch) to other students?”

I hope you will come back to study Japanese at ISI again.

ISI Japanese Language School actively accepts students from all over the world with diverse backgrounds, regardless of religion or culture.
