Thai Students Participate in Four-Week Japanese Language and Culture Experience Program

From Monday, October 7th to Friday, November 1st, 13 students from Thailand visited Japan and participated in a program aimed at learning Japanese language and experiencing Japanese culture.
At the Ikebukuro campus, the students enjoyed a variety of activities, including Japanese language classes, a ninja experience, calligraphy experience, yukata experience, and a visit to the disaster prevention center.

During the morning classes, we were impressed to see how focused the students were on their studies, and it was fantastic to see how much they improved their Japanese in such a short period of time. The afternoon activities were full of smiles and we are pleased to have provided a valuable opportunity for participants to experience Japanese culture.

Comments from participating students

  • Great teachers! My Japanese skills improved so much in just one month!
  • Everyone was friendly and professional.
  • I loved going out for various different activities.
  • The teachers were kind and tried hard to speak with me even though I only understood a little Japanese, and explained things to me in English and with gestures.
  • My host family was outgoing and taught me a lot about Japanese culture. They were a fun family to be around.
    etc…

We hope that this program provided the participants with an opportunity to experience Japan and Japanese culture on a deeper level.
All our staff are looking forward to learning Japanese together again in the near future.
