[Tokyo-Ikebukuro Campus] Completion of ISO 29991 Periodic Audit

On March the 8th, our Ikebukuro Campus (ISI Language College), underwent a renewal of our review by the international standard for language learning services, ISO29991. (Certification body: JAMOTE Certification Services Co., Ltd.)

ISO29991 is a set of requirements specifically for language learning service providers, and aims to improve the quality of language learning services and improve customer satisfaction accordingly. A regular audit is conducted every year, and a renewal audit is conducted once every three years.

At the Ikebukuro Campus, an on-site examination was held for two days, February the 14th and 15th, 2024.
As a result of the review, there were no requests for improvement, non-conformities, or negative observations in all audit items. We also received comments about our efforts to further improve quality and evaluations of the four strong points of our Ikebukuro campus.

Ensuring a sufficient quantity of learning materials to provide to students

The quantity of learning materials and appropriate guidance to learners is ensured and records of their implementation and maintenance are in place.

Improving the language learning environment at the school.

The facilities and classes are built with a good learning environment for students in mind. Especially when it comes to the classroom size, interactive design, lighting, cleanliness, heating, cooling, ventilation, and isolation from noise disturbances.

Conducting regular evaluations and utilizing the results to the improve the school.

Needs surveys and satisfaction surveys are conducted twice a year through student surveys and once a year through surveys and interviews, and the results are analyzed in detail and used to improve classes.

Improved admissions advice and information about the school.

Multilingual staff help students throughout the application stage and give students all the support they need.

General comments from certification bodies

The framework for providing language learning services remains the same as before. We have made a full recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and our faculty and staff are working together as one to move forward towards the next stage. Through interviews with teachers at the school, it was clear that they genuinely care about students and are passionate about education.

As shown in the past three years' reports, many items are listed as strong points, and the items that were not mentioned also show an above-average level of achievement. We strongly hope that the educational approach and direction set out in the new Japanese language education policies will be consistent with your school's educational philosophy, and we look forward to seeing it consistently implemented in the educational field from here onwards.

We will continue to maintain and improve the quality of our education, improve our ability to provide high quality services and provide an educational product that satisfies our customers.
