ISI Japanese Language School was named as a finalist in the “World Language School” category of the 2022 ST Star Awards. All ISI faculty and staff are honored to receive this prestigious award from the study abroad industry as the 2017 WINNER (Grand Prize) and the FINALIST (Award of Excellence) for 2020 and thereafter.
The Study Star Awards are a global award sponsored by Study Travel (headquartered in the United Kingdom), which is read by people involved in study abroad in more than 120 countries around the world, and is also known as the “Academy Awards of the Study Abroad Industry”. The awards are voted on by language schools and study abroad agents around the world, and are given to language institutions that excel in both quality and service.
As a language education institution, we have received one WINNER award for the best school and five awards for EXCELLENCE in the past* in recognition of our most valued initiatives, including our support and services for students and our trustworthy relationships with partner companies and educational institutions. We would like to thank all of our customers who have chosen ISI Japanese Language School from among many other language education institutions, as well as all of our partners who support us on a daily basis.

*In 2021, due to the global spread of coronavirus infection, the 2020 finalists (Award of Excellence) will continue to receive the award in 2021.
What is the ST Star Awards?
This year marks the 16th edition of the global awards sponsored by Study Travel (headquartered in the U.K.), which is read by people involved in study abroad in more than 120 countries around the world. The 2022 ST Star Awards were divided into 22 categories (divisions), including educational institutions, vocational schools, travel agencies, and study abroad agents from around the world, and the top five in each category were selected as finalists based on the number of votes received. The organization that received the most votes in each of these categories was named the WINNER.
Voting takes place every year from February to April, and finalists are selected at the end of July. 2022 will be the first year in three years that the Grand Prize winner will be announced and the awards ceremony will be held in London on September 3 with a grand ceremony.
